The Wombles were a music group.
In 1974, Flo, a waitress at the Nadir Motorway Service Station, mentioned the Wombles to the Eighth Doctor and Lucie. She had served them once. (AUDIO: Horror of Glam Rock)
Behind the scenes
- Bernard Cribbins, who played Arnold Korns in Horror of Glam Rock, was the narrator of the Wombles' television series and provided the voices of all of the characters.
