The Colin Baker Years was a video showcasing episodes from Colin Baker's time as the Doctor. It was presented by Colin Baker and featured clips of nearly all his stories, including his Doctor Who debut as Commander Maxil in Arc of Infinity.

However, rights could not be obtained from Eric Saward for the use of clips from Revelation of the Daleks, a fact referenced apologetically by Baker during his presentation: "For some reason, the author of that story has declined to give his consent."

Colin Baker was the last Doctor to be profiled in a Years release, as BBC Video chose not to produce tapes dedicated to Peter Davison or Sylvester McCoy's tenures.
