Long Island

Long Island was an island in New York.

Nikola Tesla's laboratory at Wardenclyffe was located on the island. Thomas Edison found it remarkable that the Doctor's TARDIS could travel from one side of New York City to Long Island in an instant. (TV: Nikola Tesla's Night of Terror)
