Born [[18 June]], [[1940]], in [[Aberdeen]], [[Scotland]], [[Michael Sheard]] is one of the more recognizable actors to have guested on ''[[Doctor Who]]'' thanks to his own acting skills and the memorable nature of the stories in which he appeared. Mr. Sheard died of cancer [[31 August]], [[2005]] at his home on the [[Isle of Wight]].

Born 18th June 1940, in Aberdeen, Scotland, Michael Sheard is one of the more recognizable actors to have guested on Doctor Who thanks to his own acting skills and the memorable nature of the stories in which he appeared. Mr. Sheard died of cancer 31st August 2005 at his home on the Isle of Wight.

Outside "Doctor Who"' he is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Admiral Ozzel in "Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back."
