Jeanie Moody was the wife of Iowa-born Terrence Moody was born in Iowa, who married her by the age of 22. In December 1941, Moody's plane was shot down in the Battle of the Philippines by Japanese soldiers shortly after he left Clark Air Base. He was recorded as missing in action.
