Digby Arwell was the brother of Reg Arwell. (PROSE: "Holiday Plans") He was brother-in-law to Madge Arwell and and the uncle of their children, Cyril and Lily Arwell. (TV: The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe)
Behind the scenes
This character's name is an obvious allusion to Professor Digory Kirke, who owns the estate which houses the wardrobe in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
