David Morrisey (born 21st June 1964) played Jackson Lake in The Next Doctor. When David Tennant announced he would be leaving Doctor Who, Morrissey was rumoured to be considered for the role of the Eleventh Doctor, although the role later went to Matt Smith. He is married to Esther Freud.
