Emily Cook worked as an editorial assistant on Doctor Who Magazine.
In 2020, Cook organised the Who at Home or Doctor Who: Lockdown! event during the outbreak of COVID-19, which kept many people around the world in their homes. As part of this event, she also produced several original stories, including Strax Saves the Day, a new Steven Moffat-penned video introduction to The Day of the Doctor, Revenge of the Nestene, a sequel to Rose written by Russell T Davies and read by Jacob Dudman, and The Raggedy Doctor by Amelia Pond read by Caitlin Blackwood.
