Character Options was the holder of the BBC's main toy license from 2005. It produced a number of high quality and collectable toys and action figures drawing on the new and classic series of Doctor Who and also The Sarah Jane Adventures.

Torchwood
- Character Options did not hold the licence to produce Torchwood merchandise. However a Hoix figure had previously been issued as a part of Doctor Who merchandise along with a number of Captain Jack Harkness figures.
