Blists Hill Victorian Town as it is now called, is an open-air museum built on a former industrial complex located in the Madeley area of Telford, Shropshire, England. The museum's buildings form a town in the style of the late Victorian period. The buildings themselves fall into three category's, buildings that were already part of the industrial site, buildings that represent a generic type, and original buildings that have been relocated to the museum.
 
The town has Victorian era shops such as a bank, bakery, bicycle shop and a post office, together with a cottage, a tin roof church and an industrial area. 
 
Filming took place at Blists Hill on the 23rd and 27th October 1984, 30th-31st October 1984, and the 1st November 1984.
