Outta Space was the last comic story in in Tim Quinn and Dicky Howett's The Doctor Who Fun Book. A metafictional epilogue to the book, it featured Howett and Quinn themselves as characters, after they had already been mentioned as such earlier on in Who Was 'Ere!.

Summary

Mr Howett and Mr Quinn have finished writing and illustrating every single page of The Doctor Who Fun Book and they must now reluctantly return to their usual job — working the huge bellows which produces the TARDIS's "Vworp! Vworp!" sound every time it dematerialises!
