Jim was a inhabitant of Devil's End.
When exiting the Cloven Hoof on a stormy night, his dog got away from him and ran into a graveyard. While searching for his dog, he was killed by a unseen creature. Dr Reeves said it was a heart attack, but Olive Hawthorne insisted that he died of fright. (TV: The Dæmons)
