BBC Visual Effects, credited as the Visual Effects Department of the BBC, provided the special effects for the bulk of the classic series of Doctor Who, but were only credited on "The Pilot Episode" and the broadcast version of the story An Unearthly Child. In the new series, they were replaced by Any Effects, Real SFX and The Model Unit.
