Miss David was a female human who ran a carpet shop in Antalya, Turkey. She was an old friend of the Doctor, who had seen the dimensional strings created by the ancient Gallifreyans reflected in, among other places, the patterns of her carpet shop. (PROSE: Cat's Cradle: Time's Crucible)
