John Ringham (10 February 1928-20 October 2008[1]) appeared in several Doctor Who television stories: Tlotoxl in The Aztecs; Josiah Blake in The Smugglers; and Robert Ashe in Colony in Space.

He also reprised his role of Tlotoxl, albeit in voice form only, for the animated guide Making Cocoa; and was interviewed in the documentary Remembering The Aztecs — both of which are featured on the DVD release of The Aztecs.

Ringham is perhaps best known for playing Norman Warrender in the BBC sitcom Just Good Friends (1983-84, 1986).
