The Kaiser Wilhelm Institute was a scientific institute in Berlin named after Kaiser Wilhelm II. In the 1930s, it was attended by such household names as Albert Einstein, Max Planck, Werner Heisenberg, and Fritz Haber.
In January 1933, the First Doctor and Susan Foreman managed to vist the building, whereupon the Doctor conversed with Fritz Haber. (AUDIO: The Alchemists)
