During the Monks' six month occupation of Earth in the late 2010s, the "True History" was a propaganda message presented by the Twelfth Doctor, which told the Monks' altered version of human history. Among other influences, the Monks took credit for saving Earth from the Daleks, the Cybermen, and the Weeping Angels.
