Wales Millennium Centre

Wales Millennium Centre, simply known as the Millennium Centre, was an armadillo-shaped building in Roald Dahl Plass.

Text on the outside of the building read: "Creu Gwir fel gwydr o ffwrnais awen"; "Creating truth like glass from the furnace of inspiration". (PROSE: Another Life)

On 3am on a Christmas Eve in the 2000s, Owen Harper and Toshiko Sato "snogged" in front of the Millennium Centre while waiting for a cab. Tosh had mistletoe. (TV: Countrycide)

Behind the scenes

The very first Doctor Who concert, Doctor Who: A Celebration, took place at the Wales Millennium Centre on 19 November 2006.

Also in 2006, the Wales Millennium Centre filled in as the location for interior scenes in the New New York Hospital, in TV: New Earth.
