Michel de Nostredame, better known as Nostradamus, (AUDIO: The Doomsday Quatrain) was a French astrologer and physician. He wrote a series of famous prophecies with the aid of the Canavitchi, as part of their plan to slow down humanity's technological development. (PROSE: The King of Terror) His wife, Madame Nostradamus, "a witty little knitter," created the scarf the Doctor would wear during his fourth incarnation. (TV: The Ark in Space)
The Gnostic Apocrypha of Nostradamus was one of the forbidden texts held in the Library of St John the Beheaded. (PROSE: Millennial Rites)
The Seventh Doctor met a duplicate of Nostradamus on the Poldagon science facility while it was replicating Florence in 1560. (AUDIO: The Doomsday Quatrain)
