Prelude White Darkness was, as the name suggested, a prelude to White Darkness by David A. McIntee. It did not appear in the published novel.

Summary

In Port-au-Prince, Paul Richmann reminisces...

Paul arrives at the house and waits for his father to enter. He speaks briefly to his father, then kills him. He takes his father's watch and leaves.

Decades later, the Doctor finds Richmann's watch while he and the Brigadier are on UNIT business.
