An unnamed radio operator was a crew member on board the Ben Nevis oil rig. While talking to Huckle over the radio, a radio blackout occurred and soon afterwards the Skarasen attacked the rig and destroyed it, killing everyone on board. (TV: Terror of the Zygons)
