Hanway Street was the darkly lit curved lane that connected Tottenham Court Road to Oxford Street, and the location of the Italian restaurant La Bella Donna. By 1985, however, the street no longer lead to Tottenham Court as it was blocked by a combination of scaffolding, skips and piles of bricks.
