The Feast of the Merons is the second episode of K-9 and the first non-pilot episode of Series 1. It will feature K-9, Starkey, Jorjie, Gryffen and Darius, as well as a more active and villainous role for The Department. It will show some of the Fallen Angels that The Department have recovered, in particular, the bug eyed humanoid seen in a photo from Regeneration and villainous orange balls with one eye that can fly and shoot organic lasers, presumably called Merons. Gryffen will use the Space-Time Manipulator to bring back his twin daughters, who will play will the machine and bring through the Merons, presumably causing a series of space-time anomalies that will be the plot basis for the rest of the series. The Merons will go on a massacre above London, randomly shooting down at lifeforms below. A trailer states that it will be split into two parts, however it was intended to be the first TV story of the series, which it wasn't, so the already broadcast Regeneration could be the first part. It will be broadcast in early 2010
