Penny was a girl who went on a date with Bill Potts. She was the real world counterpart of another Penny who existed in a simulated world created by the Monks.

History

After the Twelfth Doctor told Bill to call Penny, (TV: Extremis) they went on a date, in which Bill told her about her tutor being an alien and the computer simulation he was recently trapped in. Later, they went to Bill's flat, but their date was interrupted when several United Nations soldiers came in, looking for the President of Earth. (TV: The Pyramid at the End of the World)

This date ended similarly to the computer simulation version of their date, when the Pope walked into the room. In both versions, Penny left abruptly after the interruptions. (TV: Extremis)
