Instructions for {{Spoiler}}
{{spoiler}} is for marking real world articles that contain official spoilers.

When and where used

This template is for use on real-world pages (such as story, series or cast pages, or a Forum thread) which contain official spoilers as defined in the Spoiler Policy. See that page our definition of the word spoiler and of the distinction between official and unofficial spoilers. Series articles containing unofficial spoilers can also be tagged with this template, but Forum threads discussing unofficial spoilers should use {{Potential leaks}} instead.

How to use

Place {{spoiler}} at the top of the page.

Demo

Careful . . . spoilers!

This page absolutely does contain spoilers either about the behind-the-scenes or narrative elements of stories which have not yet been published or broadcast. Please see our spoiler policy for our rules governing articles about such subjects.

Categorisation

This template automatically adds category:contains spoilers to the pages on which it is placed.
