When fleeing from a group of Silver Daleks, the Tenth Doctor eventually landed in a field in Guelder to question the Dalek leader why they hadn't been trying to kill him. The Daleks explained that they were to bring him before the Golden Emperor, leading him away. (COMIC: Defender of the Daleks)
