Elvis Presley

Elvis Aron Presley (1935-1977), known simply as Elvis and also marketed as "The King of Rock 'n' Roll" or "The King", was an American singer and actor.

The Doctor and Rose Tyler traveled to 1953 to see him perform on the Ed Sullivan Show in New York, but mistakenly land in London just before the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. (The Idiot's Lantern)
