The Nightmare Creature was the twenty-seventh short story of the Dalek Wars series, printed in issue 53 of Doctor Who: Battles in Time magazine. Like all installments of the Dalek Wars series, it is not considered a valid source by this Wiki due to being commercial in nature.

Plot
A damaged Dalek creature crashes near a military base and is recovered. Suddenly, an alien mothership arrives and uses its "awesome" weaponry to cause high casualties; human weapons were useless. However, the conflict abruptly ends when the captured creature floated up to rejoin the mothership, which disappeared. General S. J. Jackson IV reports the battle to his superiors.
