The Virgin Bernice Summerfield New Adventures were a series of novels featuring Bernice Summerfield published by Virgin following their loss of the Doctor Who license. They began in May 1997 and ended in October 1999. Big Finish would later obtain the license to various characters for their own line of novels and audios.
