Saint Lawrence Gulf

The Saint Lawrence Gulf was a body of water in North America, near Newfoundland.

In 1002, the First Doctor, Barbara, Susan and Ian sailed with Eric the Red across the Saint Lawrence Gulf and along the Gaspé Peninsula on the way to Nova Scotia. (PROSE: Who Discovered America?)

Although not mentioned in Who Discovered America?, the gulf is more commonly referred to as the Gulf of Saint Lawrence.
