To prevent Ace from staying in Crook Marsham, 1968, the Seventh Doctor materialised his TARDIS on an alien planet with a dusky purple sky and three moons.
Ace stepped out onto a broad stretch of beach where the sand glistened like pomegranate seeds nest to a dense forest. (PROSE: Nightshade)
- In the audio adaptaion the Doctor actually gives Ace the choice to leave him or not, and doesn't take her to this planet.
