The Alpha Centauri System is a binary star system, close to the sol system.
Components
- The system contains two primary stars, Alpha Centauri A and B; they orbit each other.
- The star Proxima Centauri also orbits the pair. It has its own star system.
- Presumably, the homeworld of the Alpha Centaurans orbits one of the two primary stars. (DW: The Curse of Peladon, The Monster of Peladon)
