I agree with what the editor who placed the rename tag suggests: "Asquith Slitheen" is technically a conjectural name, whereas "Asquith (Slitheen)" or "Asquith (Slitheen family)" are not based upon conjecture. ::I personally understood the name as being a non-conjectural "the 'Asquith' Slitheen", not as suggesting that we are dealing with a Mr Asquith Slitheen. We could alternatively do "[[Slitheen Asquith]]", perhaps. Don't much like the parenthetical options, as they confuse the issue with regards to [[T:DAB]]; seeing a page named "Asquith (Slitheen)", my default would be to assume that this is a character who appeared in a story called "[[Slitheen (TV story)]]", you see? Figured I'd start a discussion on this page's rename tag, which appears to have been left up for a very long time.
I agree with what the editor who placed the rename tag suggests: "Asquith Slitheen" is technically a conjectural name, whereas "Asquith (Slitheen)" or "Asquith (Slitheen family)" are not based upon conjecture.
