Tarn was a young Hydran during the Voord invasion of Hydra. He became one of the rebels directed by the First Doctor.
When Ian Chesterton, Jonas Kaan and other Hydran slaves escaped the Voord and joined up with Amyra Kaan, Tarn acted as a guide and led the escapees to the cave in which the Doctor and the rebels were hiding out. (AUDIO: Domain of the Voord)
