Todd was a Human who set base on Deva Loka.
They experimented on Kinda people and Todd was against it. When Hindle went mad Todd helped the Doctor escape his clutches. When in the forest of the Kinda they met the only Kinda that talked, Karuna and Panna. When Panna died, Karuna helped them save the Kinda.
