Jones was a milkman for Llanfairfach. He gave the Brigadier and Jo Grant directions to Global Chemicals and the Wholeweal community.
Biography
Jones was a regular server of Global Chemicals. The Third Doctor borrowed the milk truck and pretended to be Jones's father, substituting for his ill son, in order to gain entrance to the facility. (TV: The Green Death)
Behind the scenes
- In Malcolm Hulke's novelisation of the story, Jones is renamed Morgan.
- Ray Handy's on-screen credit for Jones's appearances in episodes one and four is simply "Milkman".
