On the night of 31 October 2021, Dan returned to his home, which was adorned with Liverpool F.C. memorabilia. Shortly after seeing off some trick-or-treaters, Dan was visited by Karvanista, the Lupar who was assigned to save him from the Flux. Knowing the Doctor might be following him, Karvanista left behind a trapped-laptop which miniaturised the house after it detected the Doctor's sonic screwdriver.
