Nigel George Planer (born 22 February 1953[1]) played Vorgenson in Doctor Who: The Monsters Are Coming!, Alex Marlowe in the audio story Hothouse and the Old Racnoss Emperor and Herrax in Empire of the Racnoss.

He is best known for playing Neil on the cult comedy series The Young Ones (with Christopher Ryan) and as the Gruesome Uncle Grizzly from Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids.
