Karen Ellmore was the daughter of Marge Ellmore, an old school friend of Jackie Tyler. She was a student at the University of Cambridge in 2007. When Jackie visited Marge at the family's home in Norwich, it was originally planned that she would sleep in Karen's room. However, because there was a chance that Karen would come home that weekend, Marge re-arranged plans so that Jackie would sleep on the futon. Karen's mother was proud of her daughter's academic success, and consequently often brought up the fact that she studied at Cambridge. (AUDIO: Infamy of the Zaross)
