(PROSE: Human Nature) The Eighth Doctor kept up the practice, (AUDIO: Relative Dimensions) but by the time of the Ninth Doctor, the Doctor no longer practiced vegetarianism. (TV: Boom Town)

Jo Jones once incorrectly[additional sources needed] remembered the Third Doctor being a vegetarian. (AUDIO: The Sacrifice of Jo Grant)

Melanie Bush was a vegetarian from the age of thirteen. (PROSE: Millennial Rites) She believed that it was wrong to eat meat. (PROSE: Business Unusual)
