Donald Gee (28 September 1937[1]-14 January 2022[2]) appeared in two Doctor Who television stories: as Major Ian Warne in The Space Pirates and Eckersley in The Monster of Peladon.
He shared his memories of The Monster of Peladon on the two-part documentary The Peladon Saga.
Career
He was best known for playing PC Walker in Z-Cars, Roger Crompton in Coronation Street and Mr Boynton in Born and Bred.
Gee also appeared as removal man Bert, alongside Bob Hoskins as Alf, Bert's friend and co-worker who had reading and writing difficulties, in the running narrative of the adult literacy educational programme On the Move (1975-76).
