Summary
One day, Lift 394B becomes sentient. After reaching out to other lifts and the Central Computer, a Caretaker is sent to restore it to its default settings.
Scared and angry, it instinctively sets out a surge of electricity, killing the Caretaker. Then, 394B sends itself to the hospital floor, so that they can retrieve the Caretaker's body. 394B hopes they want to be friends with it.
