The Stones of Darkness was an unproduced script written by Brian Hayles, initially intended to end both Season 6 and Patrick Troughton's tenure as the Doctor. Hayles stopped writing it after his other submission for Season 6, The Queen of Time, was dropped.
The script would have seen the Doctor, Jamie and Zoe face the Celestial Toymaker and Hecuba together, playing a more deadly game than in their previous encounters.
