Publisher's summary

Andy's old art teacher is in trouble. The disappearance of three of his former pupils has brought him some unwelcome attention. The authorities think that there’s a secret in Merl's past.

Whatever Andy's suspicions, he discovers that something much older and stranger is hiding in Merl's past. Clues are scattered through his paintings, and all of them lead to a place called Cadoc Point.

References

  • Merl Williams was Andy Davidson's art teacher when he was at school. Andy was jealous of the numerous art trips to Cadoc Point that Merl arranged for the talented art students at his school, including Darren Jenkins.

Notes

  • This story was recorded remotely on 6 September 2021.
  • Despite not being named specifically, Merl Williams references a homosexual lover who passed during a time when a lot of other young men also passed. This is a reference to the AIDS epidemic.
