KS-159, also known as Braxiatel, (PROSE: Theatre of War) was the location of the Braxiatel Collection, as well as the Oracle of the Lost, a sentient statue that could foretell the future. (PROSE: Tears of the Oracle)

Geography

KS-159 was a planetoid (PROSE: Theatre of War) or asteroid that, despite its size, had relatively normal gravity, reaching four thousand miles out from the surface. (PROSE: Life During Wartime) The asteroid was ten miles in diameter. (PROSE: The Doomsday Manuscript)

It was located in a system with a large, ringed planet within view (PROSE: Tears of the Oracle), and was "light-years" away from Maximediras. (AUDIO: Beyond the Sea

The Crystal Caven was located on the asteroid, filled with crystals that could allow the owner to swap bodies with anyone. (PROSE: The Squire's Crystal)

History

Hayward Denson was the last person to own KS-159, prior to Irving Braxiatel. Irving Braxiatel won KS-159 in a card game he played against Hayward Denson on Vega Station. (PROSE: Tears of the Oracle) Afterwards, the planetoid was named Braxiatel. (PROSE: Theatre of War)

The Temple of the Lost

The Temple of the Lost was located on KS-159, and looked like a Greco-Roman temple. The Oracle sat within the temple. There were also coins littered about with the Oracle's likeness on them. (PROSE: Tears of the Oracle)

2115 expedition to KS-159

Doctor Oleg Mikelz, his wife Louisa Mikelz and his personal assistant Gregor began an expedition to KS-159 in 2115. On 11 September 2115, Edward Watkinson followed up Mikelz's expedition, but died on KS-159. (PROSE: Tears of the Oracle)

Braxiatel Collection

Irving Braxiatel won the asteroid in a game of cards that he played on Vega Station and decided to set up his collection there. (PROSE: The Doomsday Manuscript) He claimed that he chose it because it was supposed to be a safe place throughout time, but it was actually to take control of a temporal leak that had enough power to fuel hundreds of colonies. (AUDIO: Resurrecting the Past)

Bernice Summerfield once reminisced about the collection while drinking sherry with a creature. (WC: A Visit from Prof. Summerfield)
