Bannakaffalatta was a cyborg Zocci aboard the Titanic. He had an accident some time ago, and as a result, he underwent conversion into a cyborg, for which he experienced some shame because cyborgs were discriminated against on Sto. Bannakaffalatta refused to be addressed as "Banna".
Biography
Onboard the Titanic he met the Doctor and briefly strolled around denton on Christmas Eve on a tour led by Bayldon Copper. As Bannakaffalatta was small he was able to get through spaces others could not. He revealed his cybernetics to Astrid, to whom he took a fancy and asked on a date, which Astrid accepted. Over a short period of time, he grew to accept his nature as a cyborg. While traveling over a bridge in the Titanic, Bannakaffalatta got across with ease but when the Hosts descended upon the small group of survivors, he used his cybernetic body to release an electromagnetic pulse to destroy them and give the Doctor and the others time to escape. With little power left, Bannakaffalatta died. Astrid used his EMP transmitter (EMP transmitter is not a battery) to destroy other Hosts. (DW: Voyage of the Damned)
The Doctor later described Bannakaffalatta as "brilliant." (DW: The End of Time)

Behind the Scenes
- The Sun published an article prior to the broadcast of Voyage of the Damned claiming Bannakaffalatta was called Porg and would be attempting to kill Astrid.
- Russell T Davies originally wrote Bannakaffalatta as blue, but this was rewritten as he deemed it too similar to the Moxx of Balhoon. [source needed]
