The Unity

The Unity were a group of aliens who would invade worlds by taking over the planet's boring institutions, according to Yvonne Hartman.

Yvonne Hartman had met the Unity numerous times. When she awoke next to what appeared to be the dead body of a prince in a mysterious hotel room, Yvonne eventually worked out that the body was a duplicate created by the Unity, and that the murder was simply too perfect. The Unity has planned to frame Yvonne for murder, knowing that she would call in Torchwood. They could then break the relationship between Torchwood and the Royal Family, causing in the institute's eventual downfall. This would enable the Unity to take over the world without resistance.

Yvonne cleared out the hotel of its residence and then blew up the hotel, taking any members of the Unity with it. (AUDIO: Less Majesty)
