The Nylon Jungle was a novel written by the "lesbian novelist" Iris in the 1960s.
By the late 1990s, Eliza met the author at the filming of an episode of Glamorama, and Eliza got her copy of The Nylon Jungle signed by Iris, complete with Iris' home address and phone number.
When Raoul's partner came to visit Eliza's flat, he found this copy of The Nylon Jungle. Upon finding Iris' phone number inside, he phoned Iris, receiving relationship advice from her, despite her claiming that she doesn't give out relationship advice. (PROSE: Hospitality)
