The Spitfire Pilot was a character in the Series 5 episode DW:Victory of the Daleks. He piloted a modified Spitfire, which had a gravitational bubble around it for space travel, and had laser guns able to damage Dalek technology.
He led two other Spitfires in an attack on the Dalek ship which was transmitting an energy pulse leaving London open to German attack. After his teammates were killed in the assault, he managed to destroy the dish emitting the pulse (whose shield the Doctor managed to temporarily disrupt). The Doctor ordered him to proceed to destroy the Dalek ship, but he withdrew on later orders when the Daleks threatened to destroy the Earth.
