Windermere incident was the name that Kate Stewart gave to an event in the summer of 2015, which saw Lake Windermere destroyed by a Hyperion spacecraft, occurring soon after the similar destruction of the International Space Station. The spacecraft formed a crater where Windermere used to be, creating a large wave which flooded the town of Windermere before its heat evaporated all of the lake's remaining water. These events were recorded by survivors on mobiles and tablets. This incident proved to be a prelude to the Hyperion invasion of Britain. (COMIC: The Hyperion Empire)
